Have you been working out this past week?

The older I get, the more I realize how important it is to workout.

I used to workout once a month thinking that chasing after 7 kiddos between baby and 12 years old was enough to keep me fit.

As the years rolled by, I learned that losing weight wasn't the most important thing.

It's all about living for God's glory and doing things for those you love.

If you can't get down on the floor with your kids or grandkids or can't get up if you fall, the game's over!

Exercising After 40+

I am passionate about helping you figure out what movement exercises work after your 40th birthday.

Tomorrow I turn 69 and I'm thankful for all the Lord has allowed me to do.

BUT . . . I have to put in some work too!

Movement looks different after 40!

You may not want to move in the same way as before. Your hormones take a turn for one thing.

Each week I hope to share a tip to help you navigate the changing tides in your body.

Aging Doesn't have to be Hard!

One thing about aging is that we don't need to complain about it.

It's a fact of life.

When we comment that, "We can't do ______ anymore" it trains our brains to think we have to decline with age.

Why not have the mindset of, "Yes, I can?!"

A few years ago I had lost the ability to sit cross-legged.

I have been working to regain the ability to sit with my legs crossed and maintain it.

I don't know what you 'cannot' do any longer but I can help you move in a way you didn't realize you could at your age!
