❤️ It's Important to Hold Fast! ❤️

Are You Holding Fast?

Hello Reader!

What matters most to you?

  • People?
  • Things?
  • God?

😊 My hubby and I relocated to the Midwest for the next 5 months.

😉 This is the fourth summer we've gone on this two-day road trip so you'd think we'd be used to it. In many ways we are.

We don't have to pack everything since we store many of them over the winter. Even though I have a list on my phone, the feeling that we've forgotten something is real.

😭 One year three small bags were forgotten. All the last-minute necessities were in those bags and gradually had to be re-purchased.

❌ You do not return over 1000 miles for a forgotten item!

🤔 The question I ask myself is, what's most important in my life?!

What do you Hold Fast?

✔️ Whenever I pack, it's evident what matters most to me.

✔️ For me, it's my Bible journaling supplies.

✔️ I enjoy putting together a summer outfit, so, if the truth be known, I try to pack as many clothes as fit without breaking the zipper.

🤔 As you think (with me) about what matters most to you, please consider this verse I found in Joshua this week.

But take careful heed to do the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you, to love the Lord your God, to walk in all His ways, to keep His commandments, to HOLD FAST to Him, and to serve Him with all your heart and with all your soul.” Joshua 22:5

👉 Here are the main points in this verse to help you put into perspective what's most important in life.

👉 There is so much in this verse to take through your day:

  • Take careful heed!
  • To love the Lord your God!
  • To walk in ALL His ways!
  • To keep His commandments!
  • To HOLD FAST to Him!
  • To serve Him with ALL your heart and soul!

✔️ For me, to HOLD FAST to Jesus is by far the most important.

👉 Which one of the above resonates with you most?

Going Deeper with God! Hello Reader! Have you had a beautiful week? We've had several gorgeous days and even though today is a rainy day, it has its 'own' special beauty. Do you ever struggle to find time with Jesus? I go through seasons when it is more of a challenge. In my opinion, women might find it more of a challenge because we have so much to do. Then after a full day when we are beyond exhausted, we drop into bed and suddenly find that we are tossing and turning in bed. I couldn't...

Happy Birthday to YOU! Hello Reader! I have no idea when you had your birthday. Mine was yesterday and I thought I'd change things up and send you a birthday gift! It'll be at the bottom of this email. My Birthday Story I think I turned five the year I wrote "Happy Birthday" on the blackboard I got as a present. I got in trouble for telling everyone it was my birthday! Looking back, I'm sure it was to teach me not to be self-centered. Since then, I've always found it hard to tell friends when...
